When I first started in FIT, I found all of the classes to be very challenging. It was the first time that I incorporated exercises to increase my heart rate into my weight training and I thought it was great. I also liked the fact that each session was different and I never got bored. Looking back, I definitely feel that I was maintaining my fitness level and the training sessions were still good, but I also feel that I had plateaued. I would always get to muscle failure during training sessions but I rarely felt muscle fatigue the next day. One thing that I can say about the new format is that I definitely feel muscle fatigue the day after a Strength Interval Session and I love that feeling. I also like being able to see my heart rate so I can see exactly how hard I am pushing myself. Additionally, I feel that all of the trainers do a great job of coaching us through the exercises. We just have to be willing to listen to them and push ourselves for maximum results. It will take a little time for everyone to get settled into the new format, but I think the change is good.
